Morna Murphy

BSc Dip ION/FdSc member of BANT (British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and a registered member of CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

Morna gained her BSc. from Edinburgh University in the mid-seventies and worked in the Cytogenetic and Genetic Toxicology fields in both the NHS and private industry.


She has always had a keen interest in health, and nutrition, in particular due to a family history of cancer. This led her to study for 3 years for a Foundation Degree in Nutritional Therapy at the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION) in London founded by Patrick Holford.

Morna runs her own private practice in Harrogate and devotes one day per week working as the Nutritionist at the national charity ‘Breast Cancer Haven’ in Leeds.
