Maggie Durnell
CQSW, BSc Open, MSc MDSR

Maggi is a highly experienced management consultant with a substantial background in organisational change in public services at a senior level. Recent achievements include development of organisational leadership programme, staff engagement in change programmes leading to shifts in strategic vision, planning and leadership behaviours.

Having worked predominately in public sector organisations - local government and the NHS - the main focus of Maggie's work at operational and strategic levels has been to develop effective practice through change processes. Most recently as a senior director she has acted as an internal change agent within a large public sector organisation.

Maggie is used to working in complex systems that require excellent skills in influencing and stakeholder engagement to effect change.

Committed to her continued development, Maggie has recently completed 'Leaders UK' a programme of collaborative leadership in the public sector sponsored by The Cabinet Office, Ashridge and Birmingham University. She also holds a professional qualification in social work, a degree with the Open University and a Masters Degree in management development and social responsibility from Bristol University.
